Generally, when steel is subjected to heat above 600°C, the surface oxidizes, leading to potential issues. Shine Kogei's "High-Temperature Heat-Resistant Surface Treatment" combines substrate thermal spraying with heat-resistant surface coating. It is a coating technology that can counteract oxidation caused by direct heating from the outside, as well as that from within the metal. There are examples of its application in molds used for heating food at high temperatures.
